jsd: I certainly get the Sinead connection: Mariza goes deep and ancient, too: with the Portuguese, I could also hear older voices of Iberia, even Moorish soundings.

You're right, JS. She does remind one of Sinead. While not understanding a word of what she sang, I did like the sound of her voice and the instrumentals in the background. Very nice!

murat: you're welcome - my favorite part of the song is when she belts out those opening words...awesomeness.

lee: what i liked is that it didn't matter that i didn't know the words; the power of her voice, the infections - that's what translated the song for me.
