thanks guys - went to TexMed Clinic - the swab came back positive for the flu (ugh, so much for flu shots)...off to bed, and eventually a bath.
Oh no, the flu. I haven't had that in a long time, but I remember its utter misery.
Stay as cozy as possible.
san: thanks - it's been a few years for me too. I haven't had it since I started getting the vaccine. But, some stray germ caught me at just the right moment. I'm just glad I didn't take more people down with me.
One of the days you're contagious, you don't even know it because you don't have any symptoms.
The wife and I were listing all the people I'd seen between Thursday and Sunday, and it's no wonder the flu can turn epidemic so quickly.
