We are all still works of art in progress.

Guess it's a good thing I do morning prayer occasionally because I really need practice praying for those (expletives deleted) primates and our bishop. May God change their hearts and mine because their current attitude makes me too angry to pray nicely for them. That paper sent me on one of my walking tirades about the apartment to vent and let off steam. Sorry they are being such a disruptive force in the Episcopal Church of America's efforts to move towards a more loving position in the body of all believers.
Hugs!
Lee
Lee: I know what you mean.
I feel the same way that you and Lee feel about these actions: elementary school brown-nosing actions "at best," sucking up to the Archbish; downright cruel and, I'm sorry to say it, just plain homophobic at worst; and somewhere in the middle range of all this nonsense, I think they see themselves as the only "sane" ones in all the brouhaha, taking their "heroic" stances against the grain when, in truth, they are just dinosaurs in the Episcopal Church, incapable of leading their flocks, but just giving in to the last remaining islands of fear in their dioceses. TEC has left them behind and they can either get on board or be left by the wayside.
murat: I should cease being surprised by +GL but the more I learn about him the less he deserves his position.
