Spiritual Direction with Supertramp
San to answer a question from a comment I posted on your blog...my SD asked me to visualize what my journey looked like at that point in time. So, I used crayons (or colors if your from Texas) and I drew a circle, within the circle I drew a flowly/flowing figure holding a shepherd's staff walking through the desert.

Good "road" music, jsd. Here's to the people and the scenery along the way.
JS, I like Supertramp and hadn't heard them in years. Thanks for sharing these. I totally got the first one and even found similar feelings about my own life. ADD kept kicking in every time I listened to the second one. So I'm gonna give that one several more tries to see if I can get through the whole song. :)
Hugs!

Okay, JS, I finally got through The Long Way Home. That part about how you weren't at home when it was time to settle down reminds me of the brides at the wedding who went to get oil for their lamps and then weren't allowed into the wedding because the feast had already started. I know I've certainly taken the long way around. Planning a life and living it well takes a lot of hard work and lots of insight. Foreknowledge would be nice.
Hugs!

murat: thanks, here's to convertible bugs chugging along.
lee: glad you made it through both songs...the second song is supposedly the original song in its longest form.
